While this website is operated by Latina Leaders, Inc., a for-profit entity, all charitable contributions made through this site are received directly by Prism3, Inc., a separate nonprofit organization. Latina Leaders, Inc. does not receive, control, or retain donated funds. Donation receipts are issued by Prism3, Inc., and contributions are used exclusively for its charitable programs and mission-driven work, in accordance with applicable nonprofit regulations.

One example of this impact is our missions trip to Medellín, Colombia, where we brought leadership training, mentorship, and community support directly to women and local communities in need of empowerment and resources.
Global Leadership Impact — Medellín, Colombia Mission
At Latina Leaders, Inc., our mission extends beyond inspiration and borders. We are committed to raising and equipping women leaders around the world—women who will transform their families, strengthen their communities, and build a legacy for future generations.
Medellín Leadership & Empowerment Mission (2021)
In July 2021, I had the privilege of traveling to Medellín, Colombia with my daughter to speak to an inspiring group of women about leadership, resilience, and purpose. During this mission trip, we partnered with the nonprofit organization Mujer Talento, whose mission is to restore and empower women who are overcoming incredibly difficult circumstances, including domestic violence, prostitution, drug addiction, human trafficking, and extreme poverty.
Mujer Talento provides mentorship, job training, and entrepreneurial education to help these women rebuild their lives with dignity and independence. One of their most impactful programs teaches women sewing and fashion design, equipping them with valuable skills that allow them to work in Medellín’s fashion district or launch their own small businesses.
Impact of the Mission
This mission trip was a deeply impactful experience that demonstrated the power of leadership, faith, and community support in action.
Through the generosity of donors and supporters, we were able to contribute financial assistance, clothing donations, and leadership development resources to women rebuilding their lives.
During our time in Medellín, we witnessed firsthand how encouragement and mentorship can restore confidence and help women reimagine their future beyond past circumstances. Many women shared that the leadership message they received reignited hope, strengthened their identity, and helped them see new possibilities for themselves and their families.
Ongoing Impact
The impact of this initiative continues beyond a single trip. Contributions made through Prism3, Inc. help sustain and expand programs like those at Mujer Talento by supporting essential supplies, workforce development training, and safe community spaces where women can learn, grow, and receive ongoing mentorship.
These efforts continue to empower women with practical tools to rebuild their lives, gain stable employment, and pursue entrepreneurship—creating ripple effects of transformation across families and communities.
